How do I make a QR code to share a calendar event? (vCard, iCalendar, .ics)

You may have colleagues who want to share an event, like a webinar, meeting, conference or video call -easily with customers. Rather than getting customers to manually enter it into their calendar, you could get customers to scan a QR code to download the event to their mobile phone using a vCard / iCalendar / .ics file.

A vCard, is an electronic file that stores contact information. It's a standard format for sharing event details.

What data can you share in an calendar event vCard?

How to create a QR code vCard to share a calendar event

1. Go to Track > Create links page

2. In One or multiple tab, click on 'Calendar event' radio button

3. Enter the fields you wish to share, only Event title, Start and end are required.

4. (Optional) Customise the QR code with branding and images as required.

5. Click on 'Create event' button

6. Click on 'Download' button
